If a student does not have a high school diploma or the equivalent, admission is considered on an individual basis. The student must pass the Asset Test with a score of 35 and, if a recipient of financial aid, must pass an independently administered test approved by the Department of Education called an ability-to-benefit test. The student must submit the official test score notification to HBC to demonstrate his or her ability to benefit prior to admission. The student must also successfully complete GED tests by the end of the second semester.
