Youth Ministry
Purpose: The Youth Ministry Track is designed to prepare students for ministry as professional youth pastors and/or other positions of ministry to youth within the church or para-church organizations.
Measurable Learning Outcomes for the Youth Ministry Track:
1. The student will articulate a biblical and theological foundation for youth ministry.
2. The student will identify the characteristics, needs and culture of today’s teens.
3. The student will evaluate curriculum and programs designed to minister to youth.
4. The student will effectively teach and preach the Scriptures to youth, making use of sound exegetical and hermeneutical principles.
5. The student will demonstrate entry-level skills and knowledge appropriate to youth ministry.
